Our hand-embroidered fairy art features printed, lifelike pressed flowers and sumptuous hand-embroidered alpaca and silk stitchwork. The fairy was painstakingly embroidered onto museum-quality paper before being digitalised and made into this print.

Handcrafted by designer Leah, she tuned into an inner rhythm to hand stitch and weave this piece. The technique she used was an organic variation on darning stitch.

Each pressed flower in the artwork was originally hand-pressed by Leah, and many of them had grown in her garden from seed. Selecting only the finest specimens to use in her prints required a lot of trial and error. The flowers she chose for this piece are a pastel stripe cosmos, a pressed cornflower, and a wild bindweed. We hope that you cherish how we have captured her craftsmanship.
